The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, October 28, 2011, of Norma MacFarlane, of Summerside, aged 88 years.
Born in Summerside, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Elizabeth (Green) MacMurdo. Survived by her son Rodney MacFarlane, Charlottetown; daughter Cathy (Sonny) Grant, Summerside; grandchildren Kara (Rami) Katmouz, Summerside; Cliff MacFarlane, Calgary, AB; Richard MacFarlane, Calgary, AB; great-grandchildren Jacob and Isaiah Katmouz; sister Janet (Denton) Clark, Melbourne, FL; brother Robert (Marion) MacMurdo, North Bedeque; sister-in-law Patricia “Pat” MacFarlane, Summerside; and by numerous nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Ralph MacFarlane; brother Douglas MacMurdo; sister-in-law Anna MacMurdo; and by her brother-in-law Horace MacFarlane.
Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where funeral service will be held Tuesday, at 1 p.m. Interment in People’s Cemetery, Summerside.
Visiting hours Tuesday from 12 noon until time of the funeral.
