Passed peacefully away on October 26, 2011 at Bonnews Lodge, Badger’s Quay, Eleanor Blackwood age 95 years of Greenspond. Predeceased by her husband; Ebenezer Blackwood, parents; Fredrick Edward and Theresa Rose (nee White) Dyke. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are 4 sons; Edward of Wesleyville, Ebenezer (Marlene) of Greenspond, Frank of Greenspond, Edgar (Patricia) of St. John’s, brother; Frank (Elizabeth) of Grand Falls-Windsor, 4 grandchildren; Sheldon Blackwood, Terri Lynn Morrison, Justin Blackwood, Stephen Blackwood, 4 Great grandchildren; Sarah and Hannah Blackwood, Matthew and Andrew Morrison and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Funeral service was held on October 30, 2011 at The United Church Greenspond with Rev. Brian Hannon officiating. Interment followed at the United Church Cemetery, Greenspond.
