MAYHEW, Ruby Marie (née) Miner passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 18th, 2011 after a prolonged and courageous battle with cancer at age 77. Ruby touched the hearts of all who knew her and will be dearly missed by her beloved husband of 57 years, Roy. Survived by her sister, Mary Haack and brother, Jerry Miner. The memory of their mother will always be cherished in the hearts of Dawn Houbraken (John), Ken, Gwen MacNair (Ian), Sheila Pietrantonio (Rocco) and George (Sylvie). Their grandmother will be dearly remembered by Nathan, Kristyne, Laura, Heather, Jenna, Justin and Juliana. A sincere thank you to those at Valley Stream Manor who went the extra mile to support our family through this trying time.
