PICTOU, NS – Harry Robert “Robbie” Hogg, 69, of Pictou, passed away October 31, 2011 at home.
Born in Pictou, he was a son of the late Harold and Dorothy “Nancy” (Galbraith) Hogg.
Robbie worked as a welder at the Pictou Shipyard and Trenton Works. He was a loving husband, father and brother who always put family first.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia (Turner) Hogg; daughters, Laura and Barbara; siblings: Barbara Lewis, Dana Hogg, Susan O’Brien, Maureen Campbell; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents Robbie was predeceased by a niece, Ashley Anne Campbell in infancy.
Cremation has taken place. At Robbie’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke foundation.
Arrangements are entrusted to the McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou.
