With sadness we announce the passing of Margaret at Royal Inland Hospital, surrounded by her family.
She was predeceased by her parents Capt. Donald and Henrietta Fraser; sister Annie Louvros and brothers George and Bert Ash.
Margaret is survived by her daughters: Bette (Abe) Vandendool and Marnie Gray, her son James (Sherry); her sisters Helen Woodward and Frances Bailey, also six grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was born in Kamloops at Mrs. Phillips' nursing home. Her years were spent mainly working and living here. Margaret was the happiest tending her garden from which many enjoyed the fruits of her labour. She was also well known for helping youths in trouble and taking in stray animals.
We would like to thank the wonderful staff of 6 North for their care.
A Graveside Service will be held for Margaret on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Pleasant Street Cemetery.
