E. Floden "Mick" Yorke
OROMOCTO, N.B. ­ The death of Embert Floden "Mick"Yorke occurred peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2009, after a battle with cancer.
He was born in Parrsboro, N.S., Oct. 18, 1932 to Axel and Lavonah (Welch) Yorke and was a loving husband to Louise (Sauvé) Yorke of Waasis, N.B.
He is survived by his wife, Louise; his children, Karen Leedham (Bruce) of Trenton, Ont.; Randy Yorke (Donna) of Lincoln, N.B. and Mike Yorke (Bonnie) of St. Stephen, N.B.; siblings, Carroll Yorke (Jackie) of Greenwood, N.S.; Beverly Veinot of Amherst, N.S.; Sylvia Muloin of Antigonish, N.S.; Gary Yorke (Brenda) of London, Ont.,, and Pat Yorke of London, Ont.
Floden was predeceased by his parents and three brothers, Lawrence Yorke, Rick Yorke and Gregory Yorke.
Visitation was held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Thursday, October 22nd, 2009. There was no service, by request.
