John James Reynolds, formerly of Sydney Mines, passed away in Oakville on March 21, 2011.
He was the son of the late John and Frances (Hood) Reynolds. He was employed at Long’s Manufacturing for 33 years and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 114. He enjoyed his trips to Tim Hortons to meet with his buddies.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Jeanette MacMullin, an infant son; sister, Ethel; brothers, Steven and Eldridge; brothers-in-law, Bernard, Andrew and Pius and sisters-in-law, Claire and Dolly ‘Viola’.
He is survived by sisters, Jean (Bernard) Lannigan, Beatrice Price, Daisy (Pius) Hennessey and Evelyn Young.
Dad will always be loved and remembered by his family, his many nieces and nephews; his daughter, Jenny and two lovely girls, Kayla and Emily Lannigan.
Funeral services took place in Oakville.
