On Monday, October 26, 2009, seven years to the day of her beloved husband Stan's death, Helen Shaw passed away peacefully at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener, Ontario, at the age of 95.
Helen will be forever remembered by her sons, Jim (Beth), Clark, Cliff, Richard (Val), and daughter, Beryl (Ken) McGuinness. Helen is also survived by eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as her friends and relatives.
Cremation has taken place and a celebration of Helen's life will be held at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, Visitation Chapel and Reception Centre, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd East, Richmond Hill, on Saturday, October 31, 2009, at 11 a.m. A reception will follow.
