John Hugh MacDonnell, 78 of Sydney, passed away Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011.
Formerly of Kempt Road, Richmond Co., he was the son of the late John Alexander MacDonnell and Mable MacRae.
He is survived by his children, John (Veronica) Sampson, N.B.; Debbie (Troy) Richards, Cole Harbour; Diana (David) McLeod, Sackville, N.S.; sisters, Kay Macdougall, Port Hawkesbury, Isabell MacDonnell, Kempt Road, Ethel (Paul) Garland, Ont., Anne (Barry) Reid, Sackville; brothers, Ralph, Sackville and Duncan (Nancy), Troy.
He was predeceased by sister, Elsie Buchanan; brothers, Jim, Dan and Edward.
Cremation has taken place. Burial at a later date.
Funeral arrangements entrusted to T.W. Curry Parkview Chapel.
