We, the family of the late Jeanette Bernice MacLean, would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended the wake and funeral of our beloved Mother. Many thanks to all who sent cards, online condolences, words of sympathy, food, emails, flowers, and donations to Palliative Care. All such expressions of sympathy were greatly appreciated. Thank you to the "Dundee Girls" for the beautiful dinner, with special thanks to Patsy MacNeil and Sheila Digou. Special thanks to Dr. Anne Francis D'Intino and the Palliative Care staff, the nurses in Units 3A and 4C and Marie Farr at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital. Much appreciation to the pallbearers, Pastor Michael Butterfield, for officiating the funeral service, and Chant's Funeral Home, for providing so much support and compassion to the family. Thank you to City Homemakers for providing such loving and thorough care to Mom for the past five years. Much gratitude to all of our co-workers for so many kind words and deeds. Special heart-felt thanks to Helen Doue and her family, and Katherine Butterfield, for their many acts of kindness to Mom. She so enjoyed their companionship - especially the laughter.
