William Carl "Curly" July 22, 1921 - October 25, 2011. Curly was born in Spy Hill Saskatchewan on July 22, 1921, he passed away peacefully on October 25, 2011 at Lions Gate Hospital. Predeceased by his son Allan. He is lovingly remembered by his sister Shirley, two brothers, Morley and Allen, his children Richard (Charlene) Crosson, Carla Leger, Wendy (Louie) Acorn, grandchildren Carly (Ryan) Crosson, great grandchild Mayson, Bill (Laurie) Crosson, Christopher (Nicole) Acorn, Colin Acorn and by his many dear friends. Curly was a veteran of World War II, he resided in Squamish for over 70 years where he loved his career of driving a logging truck, ATV riding and most of all Snowmobiling. Curly set an example of old fashioned hard work, honesty, and kindness. He loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchild dearly. He will be sorrowly missed by them all. A celebration of Curly's life will be held on Saturday Nov 05, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Squamish Funeral Chapel 40440 Tantalus Road, Garibaldi highlands, B.C.. Interment to follow at Mount Garibaldi Cemetery. In memory of Curly donations may be made to The Squamish Hospice Society 38140 Behrner Drive, Squamish, B.C. V8B 0J3.
