WOOD, DELLA MAY -The family of Della May Wood of Minto, NB, sadly announce her passing on Wednesday, November 2nd, 2011 at the Chalmer's Regional Hospital. Born in Saint John, NB she was the daughter of the late Eldon and Amelia (Morrill) McGaghey. Survived by a son Donald (Joyce) of New Maryland, NB and a daughter, Joan Cripps (Carl) of Flesherton, ON; two sisters, Thelma McKennelley and Iona Barton both of Minto, NB; step sister, Nellie Edmunson of Beldune, NB; grandchildren, Chris Wood (Colleen), Scott Wood (Ruth), Heather Liddle (Tim) and Clinton Cripps (Leslie) and several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Della was predeceased by her husband Clarence Wood; brothers, Ken and Earl McGaghey; step brothers, Irvin and Ansel Wood; step sisters, Ellen Hutchins and Marguerite Elliott.
Resting at Hogg Funeral Services (10 King Street, Minto, NB) with visiting on Friday evening from 7 to 9pm and, prior to the Funeral Service which will take place 2:00PM Saturday, November 5th, 2011 from the United Baptist Church of Minto. Interment will take place in the United Baptist Cemetery, Minto, NB.
