MacLellan’s Brook - Edith Belle MacDonald, of MacLellan’s Brook, and formerly of Trenton and Orion Ave., New Glasgow, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 2, 2011.
Born September 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Belle (Munroe) McKinley, of Trenton.
She was a member of Saint John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Andrew Francis MacDonald; three daughters: Marjorie (Sid) MacDonald, Little Harbour; Andrea Webb (Richard), Stellarton; Kimberley MacDonald (Whitney), New Glasgow; grandchildren: Darryl, Christopher, Mandy, Blair, Michael, Floyd, Melissa, Jeremy and Alana; 3 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons Samuel and Alan.
Cremation has taken place. As per her wishes there will be no visitation or funeral. A family graveside service will be held.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Aberdeen Hospital Palliative Care or Canadian Cancer Society.
