At the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on Wednesday, October 28, 2009, of Linus Joseph Carroll of Charlottetown, age 83 years.
Loving father of Gary, Elizabeth Kenny (Bobby), Mary Lou Nicholson, Fredericton, N.B., and Susan Moore (Dariell). Grandfather of Kristen, Kenny, Jenna (Whistler, B.C.), Jordan (Calgary, Alta.), Catherine Nicholson (Halifax, N.S.), Sarah (Calgary, Alta.), Laura and Emma Moore. Brother of Catherine Penn, Gerald Carroll and Roberta Labelle (Leo). Brother-in-law of Arnold Moore (Jean). Survived by his uncles, O’Leary Curley (Mary) and Clarence Curley.
Predeceased by his wife, Ethel (nee Moore); by his son, Bloyce; by his brother, Ed Carroll (Kay); and brother-in-law, Stan Penn.
Resting at Belvedere Funeral Home from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday at 1 p.m. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment later in New Glasgow Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Center of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
