It is with great love and sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Russell Fedechko on October 26, 2009 in Kamloops, British Columbia with family by his side and cradled within his mothers arms.

Russell was born June 17, 1961 in Whitehorse, Yukon. Russell enjoyed an active life, he loved fishing and hunting and was an avid sports individual who really looked forward to attending the Blazers Hockey games.

Russell was predeceased by his grandfather Fredrick Lloyd and his grandmother Mrs. Dorothy Lucas.

Russell was a very humble man who never complained about his illness and taught all who loved him what true strength, courage and kindness is all about. He gave words of inspiration to all, as he battled his illness, his words were so special asking for nothing and giving kindness from his heart so sweetly saying \"I\'m sorry\" and \"thank you.\"

He leaves behind his family to cherish his memory, his loving parents Gerald and Valerie Yantz; his loving brother Michael Fedechko and his wife Michele; his loving sister Jody Chisholm and husband Rob; his nephews Monty and Trey Chisholm; his grandmother Mrs. Lillian Lloyd; his aunt and uncle Sharon and John Clark and family. His extended family in Calgary and also in England along with many cousins and friends. Special people in Russell\'s life were Shirley and Gabby Pioulod of Clinton, Randy Bing of Kamloops and Aunty Doreen in Clearwater.

A very special Thank You to the caring staff; Danise Skopnikand, Sam Durmoth of Desmond House, to the Interior Community Services and to Susan Harvey for all their support. Russell had great respect for his family doctor, Dr. R.C. McLaren ... Thank you.

The family requests that any expressions of sympathy take the form of a donation to People in Motion at 182 - B Tranquille Rd., Kamloops, BC, V2B 3G1 or the Kamloops Brain Injury Association at 408 Victoria St., Kamloops, BC, V2C 2A7.
