It is with great sadness that the family announce his passing on November 3, 2011, at the age of 63, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Predeceased by his parents William and Martha, his sister Mary and brother-in-law John Butler, parents-in-law Ealier and Clarence Morgan, brothers-in-law Din and Si Morgan and Graham Mifflen and his good friend Leo Penton. Strengthened by his love and courage and comforted by a lifetime of cherished memories is his loving family: his wife Donna (Morgan); daughter Heidi, son -in-law Jamie and precious grandson William Boyd. Also, his brother Lou and sisters Julia, Eileen and Anne (Mark and Jill, David & Anna, Tony & Natasha Hickey), as well as Mary’s children Wanda and John (Diane) Butler, his brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Clarence and Betty Morgan (Christine & Tom Hand, Jacqui Morgan & Remy Vidal, Grant and Laura Morgan, Allison & Michael Granter) Joan and Lorne Janes (Natasha, Vanessa, Stefan and April Mifflen), Regina and Ches Pardy (Kim, Pam, Reneta, Kelly and Michael, Rosalind and Kevin O’Driscoll (Tina, Greg & Calla and Clint Butler and their father Wins and Sue and Max Blackwood (Gillian, Jeanne & Henry Crane) as well as Si’s children, Si, Janet, Ronnie and Carley. Kevin also leaves a large circle of great nieces and nephews that he adored, and special family friends Regina Murphy, Rosalind Penton and Tom and Mary McMahon. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Saturday, 10 am -12 noon. Funeral service in St. Edward's Church, Kelligrews on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at 1:30 pm.
