Passed away after a brief illness on Thursday, November 3rd, 2011 at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital. Jacqueline Lush (retired teacher of St. Matthew’s). Predeceased by her beloved husband James and her parents Jim and Mary (Lomasney) Sears. Left to mourn her brothers - in - law Charles Lush, Philip Lush, Brian Lush, Peter Lush and their families. Also, left to mourn her passing special cousins Margaret Clowe, Betty Lomasney and Mary Lomasney and other relatives on the Southern Shore. Her special friends Fred and Edith Lyall, Mary Bourgeois, Betty Sauve, Patricia Tizzard and Patricia Quigley. Her teaching buddies Maud Duggan, Shirley Duggan, Alice Flynn, Sharon Byrne and Janet Morrissey. Gerry and Lorraine Heffernan and her neighbours on Beacon Hill Cres. A special thank you to the staff of 7th East at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital for their care of Jackie during her illness. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, November 7th, 2011 from Corpus Christi Church at 9:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or donations may be made in Jackie’s memory to the ALS Society.
