Passed peacefully away on October 28, 2009 at St. Clare’s Hospital, Rex Baker of Port Rexton in his 89th year. Life-long member of the SUF Lodge, Port Rexton. He is predeceased by his wife Ada, infant son Alexander and mother and father George and Annie Baker. He leaves to mourn his loving companion Lillian Rideout, son Maurice (Elizabeth), grandchildren: Gregory (Kim) Baker, Kelly (Warren) McAllister, Susan (Terry) Oliver and Christina (Dwayne) Gillingham and six great-grandchildren; deeply mourned by sister Mary Randell; the Rideout family: Brian and Shelley, Hazel and Roy, Glenda and Ronnie and Calvin; Harold (Madonna), Beverly (Frazer) and Edward (Theresa) as well as sister-in-law Angelina Ayles; brothers-in-law Roy Price and James Price and many nieces and nephews. Resting at Fewer’s Funeral Home, Port Rexton on Friday, October 30 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service from Christ Church, Port Rexton on Saturday, October 31st at 11:00 a.m. Donations in his memory can be given to Christ Church, Port Rexton or a charity of your choice.
