RICHARD, JEANNINE - 1925 - 2011 - Jeannine Richard, 86, of Auberge du Soleil, Dieppe, formerly of Moncton, NB, passed away on Friday, November 4th, 2011, at the Moncton Hospital. Born in Sainte-Marie-de-Kent, NB, she was the daughter of the late Philippe and the late Élise (née: Melanson) Léger. Mrs. Richard was a former member of Les Dames D’Acadie and the Club d’Age d’Or. She is survived by five sons: Vincent (Lois) of the United Arab Emirates, Jules (Vicki) of Moncton, Jean of Greater Lakeburn, Robert (Jane) of Quispamsis and André (Linda L.) of Dieppe; one brother, Léonide Léger of Dieppe; 10 grandchildren: Annie, Luc, Krista, Lori, Pierre, Lise, Eric, Josée, Christine and Sylvie as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Rhéal in 1993; one daughter, Lise; four sisters: Marie, Anita, Émma and Odila and also by eight brothers: Neri, Zoel, Antoine, Augustin, Émile, Léo, Paul and Yvon.
By request, no visitation at the funeral home.
Funeral mass will be celebrated from Christ-Roi Roman Catholic Church, Moncton, NB on Tuesday, November 8th, 2011, at 11 am.
Interment in Petite-Aldouane, NB. Donations to the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont Hospital or Université de Moncton Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
