Blanch Clark, 79 of Glace Bay passed away on Thursday, Nov. 3, 2011 at the Glace Bay Hospital.
Born in Toronto, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice (Tucker) Richards. Blanch was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose greatest joy was her family. She loved knitting and crocheting for them.
She is survived by daughters, Linda (John) Clark, Springhill, Yvonne (Doug) MacQueen, Port Morien, Dale Clark, London, Ont.; sons, Albert (Elinor), Broughton, George (Judy) Cornerbrook, Nfld. Also surviving are grandchildren, Charlee, Gail, Alex, Darren, Steve, Matthew, Jessica and great-grandchildren, Jamal, Tyrese, Eli, Darnell; sister, Bernice (Eric) Journeay and brother, Stan (Wilena) Richards.
She was predeceased by her husband, Marcilin and brother, Roy.
There will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 7, 2011, 2 p.m. at Patten Funeral Home, 71 Union St., Glace Bay with CSM. Fred Courtney officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Haven Memorial Gardens, Sydney.
