Passed away peacefully at Dunville, P. Bay, formerly of Bell Island, NL on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 age 63 years. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Mary Jackman, sister Virginia (Jean) Gosse and brothers Leo, Thomas and Gordon. Leaving to mourn with fond memories are her loving partner James Bishop; daughter Bonnie Power-Petten (Clayton); sons: Noel (Lisa) and Fergie Jr. (Louise) and their father Fergus Power; grandchildren – Clayton, Lindsey and Todd Petten, Victor and Dorrie Power, Brittany and Fergie Power, along with eight sisters, two brothers and a large number of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at Maher’s Funeral Home, Placentia. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 3 pm to 9 pm and on Friday from 2 pm to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will take place 2 pm on Saturday at St. Anne’s Church, Dunville. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery in Dunville.
