CHURCHILL, Robert — Passed peacefully away at the Escasoni Complex, surrounded by his family, on November 4, 2011. Robert Churchill, former employee of Newfoundland Telephone for 37 years, aged 74 years. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Lucy; brother's Allan (and his wife Patricia) and Alex; brothers-in-law and sisters-in- law: Hayward Yetman, Shirley Churchill, Lorraine and Hubert Underhay, Jean and Alex Neville, Harold Cofield, Bill Hynes and George Starks. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Eleanor; son Robert Paul; daughter Lisa and grandson Nathan Robert; siblings: Marion Yetman, Frank, Lorraine Thompson (Bill), Winston (Russie), Fred (Diane); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Alice Churchill, Charlie Starkes (Jean), Bill Starkes (Maude), Maisie Wilson (Gordon), Fred Starkes (Ruby), Mary Cofield , Marie Hynes, Mabel Starkes; special friend Fred Raynes; special niece Tina Murphy (Gerard);Also a large circle of nieces, nephews , relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
