ROCKLIN/NEW GLASGOW – Evelyn Gertrude Hemwood, 86, Rocklin, formerly of New Glasgow, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2009, in Glen Haven Manor.
Born in New Glasgow, she was a daughter of the late Isadore and Bridget (MacGuire) Martin.
She will be dearly missed by her daughters, Anna Denoon, Markham, Ont.; Elva MacLean (George), Rocklin; Darlene Hale (John), Trenton; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and a brother, Frank Martin (Winnie), Little Harbour.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Hemwood; a sister, Margaret Sheridan, and brothers: Ambrose, Thomas, and Joseph Martin.
