WILSON, CHRISTINA LAURIE SUTHERLAND (WYLIE) - Surrounded by her loving family, Christina Laurie Wilson passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 5 2011. She was 82. Born in Perth Andover, NB, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Annie (Reid) Wylie. Member of Christ Church Parish Church, as well as a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #4, and the Nashwaaksis Lionettes Club. Christina loved to Knit, Read and bake. Christina is survived by, daughter Ann Lambert (Tom) of Fonthill, On; son Robert “Bob” Wilson (Karen) of New Maryland; seven grandchildren Travis Lambert (Susan) of Grimsby, Ont., Christopher Lambert of Fonthill On, Rob Wilson (Nathalie) of Ottawa, On., Rebecca “Becky” Wilson (Philip) of New Maryland, Tricia Jarratt (Bill) of Oromocto, Michael Wilson of Fredericton, and Laurie Ann Wilson of Oromocto; two step-grandchildren Kristian McMullin and Jennifer McMullin (Michael); 12 great-grandchildren Brittany Carr, Miles and Jack Lambert, Aidan Wilson, Abby Wilson, Zoe Geburt, Ashley Wilson, Ryan and Megan Goodine, Shane Jarratt, Madryk and Lexis Coleman; sisters Inez Wolverton of Maine and Charlotte Wood of NS; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by her loving husband of 61 years Ralph (Jim) Wilson and son James Louis Wilson, brothers and sisters; Alex Wylie, Jean Bednick, Nancy Clowes, Eska Wylie and Samuel Wylie. The family would like to thank Doctor Aslam and the Nurses at the ICU for all their care and compassion in this time of need.
Visitation will be held at Bishop’s Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A funeral service will be held from Christ Church Parish Church’s Saint Anne’s Chapel, Westmorland Street on Tuesday, November 8 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Anthony Kwaw officiating. Interment in the Rural Cemetery Extension. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made the Children’s Wish Foundation or the IWK, would be appreciated by the family.
