Passed peacefully away at the Escasoni Complex, surrounded by his family, on November 4, 2011, Robert Churchill, former employee of Newfoundland Telephone, age 74. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Lucy, brother Allan and his wife Patricia, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Hayward Yetman, Shirley Churchill, Lorraine and Hubert Underhay, Jean and Alex Neville. Leaving to mourn his loving wife Eleanor; son Robert Paul; daughter Lisa and grandson Nathan Robert; siblings: Marion Yetman, Frank (Shirley - deceased), Lorraine Thompson (Bill), Winston (Russie), Fred (Diane); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Charlie Starkes (Jean), Bill Starkes (Maude), Maisie Wilson (Gordon), Fred Starkes (Ruby), Mary Cofield (Harold-deceased), Marie Hynes (Bill-deceased), Mabel Starkes (George-deceased); special friends Fred Raynes; special niece Tina Murphy (Gerard), as well as numerous other nieces and nephews. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 73 Commonwealth Avenue, Mount Pearl from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Funeral Service at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 7, 2011 from Barrett’s Mount Pearl Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
