At the Kings County Memorial Hospital in Montague on Saturday, November 5, 2011, of Mae Peters (nee MacKenzie) of Montague, age 84 years.
Wife of the late Ivan Peters. Dear mother of Ivan (Wanda), Winnipeg, MB; Marian (Harold) Mullen, Tracadie Cross; Jack (Rose), Montague; Reg (Marlene), Cardigan Head; Rosemarie (Anthony) O’Brien, Green Meadows; and mother-in-law of Everett MacLeod. Loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by daughter, Valerie MacLeod, infant, Marilyn Peters, infant grandchildren, Elaine, Douglas and Smith Louis, brothers Harry, Louis and sisters, Agnes and Marion.
Resting at Ferguson’s Montague Funeral Home until Wednesday at 10 a.m., then to St. Paul’s Church, Sturgeon, for funeral mass at 10:30. Interment in the Parish Cemetery. Visitation: Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
