Passed away peacefully at the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home with his family by his side.
After his service in the RCAF during the Korean War John returned to Charlottetown where he ran his insurance claims adjusting business for 40 years. John was a great advocate for Canadian Home Children.
Survived by his loving son Greg (Shelagh Purser), daughter Cathy (Paul Guindon) and son Jeff (Tracey) and his eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
At John’s request there will be no visitation and there will be a public memorial service at Belvedere Funeral Home Thursday, November 10, at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home.
