We, the family of the late Mary “Murphy” Howley wish to express our heartfelt thanks to family members, friends and neighbors for their support and kindness during this difficult time. To all who attended the visitation and the funeral, those who called, sent Mass and sympathy cards, flowers, donations and food to our home. Your kind words and support will not be forgotten. Special thanks to the Cove Guest Home, “Spanish Bay” for the care, comfort and kindness to Ma and the family. To the pallbearers Malcolm Gillis, Rodden Gaffney, Charlie Lyons, Ryan Rehbery, Jennifer Lyons and Darrell MacNeil, Nana would be so proud. Special thanks to Deacon Lorne MacNeil for the prayers at the Funeral Home and the Funeral Service. To the organist, Francis MacLeod for the hymns and to the staff at V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home for their kindness and helpfulness. To the Glace Bay Pensioners Club for their Honor Guard, also a special thank you to Linda Jewells and Carol McLean who looked after the lunch following the Funeral Service. Thank You.
