It is with an enormous sense of loss that we have experienced the passing of our dear sister Denise. Denise was born and raised in Moose Jaw where she attended school and started working at the age of twelve. She moved to Prince Albert in 1969 where her only child Taryl was born. In 1991 Denise moved back home to Moose Jaw and resumed working at Valley View Centre. Denise was an extremely hard worker and was well liked and respected by her co-workers. Had she lived to the age of 65 she would have retired from VVC. Denise also helped to care for her mother with whom she had a special bond. As a young woman Denise was very athletic and a skilled basketball and baseball player. Denise had a wonderful sense of humour with a sly little smile. Although Denise was a private person she was generous with her time and energy towards her friends
and family. Ask one of her long time friends about Denise's fine qualities and they would report her to be diligent, proud, caring, fun, compassionate and mothering. She
was an avid hockey fan, and had also been known to visit the casino. Denise's pride and joy were her grandsons, Nolan and Caleb. She was predeceased by her mother Ruth
Montcalm, father Harold Lindquist and is Survived by her siblings Lorne, Ron, Judy, Susan, Tom, Robin, Joey, Mike and
Lori, her daughter Taryl, son-in-law Kevin and her two grandsons Nolan and Caleb, and her long-time companion Heather Sjoberg. We would like to extend a special thank you to her special friends Betty Davalos, Dorothy Busse, Eleanor Sheppardson as well as her many other friends and colleagues. The nurses of the surgical ward at the Union Hospital did a wonderful job of caring for, and keeping Denise comfortable, for that we extend a sincere thank you on behalf of those who loved Denise. Please in your own way celebrate Denise's life.
