We, the family of the late James (Jim) Phillips, who passed away on September 25, 2011, would like to express our sincere gratitude to friends and neighbours for the outpouring of support during our recent loss. Your kindness, prayers, visitations, cards, emails, memorial donations and floral arrangements were much appreciated. Special thanks to Rev. Winston Parks and Rev. Scott Ryder as well as soloist Donnie Chapman for the service. Thank you to the eight grandsons who were pallbearers and to granddaughter Kim Ayles for the touching eulogy that depicted Jim's (Grampie's) endearing qualities so well. A special thank-you to the members of Moncton Branch #6 Royal Canadian Legion for their memorial service and to the members of the Moncton Firefighters, IAFF Local 999, for their honour guard. Special thanks as well to the members of the Fredericton Police Force who attended and were part of the public safety honour guard. A special thank-you also to family friends and co-workers who travelled from Fredericton to attend the service. Thank you to Wendell and staff at Ferguson Knowles for their expert and kind direction with arrangements. A very special thanks to McNair Manor for their wonderful care of Jim (Dad) during his last weeks.
