Passed away on November 6, 2011, after a lengthy illness at the Central Newfoundland Regional Health Care Center, Randolph Gower Langdon of Botwood. He was 85 years of age. Gower retired from Abitibi Price, Botwood in 1989. He was predeceased by his wife, June and granddaughter, Amanda Forward. Left to mourn are his son, Earl (Betty); daughters, Mona (Ed), Gail (Donny), Rhonda (Mike), Sharron (Darrell), Mia (Phil). Also leaving to mourn are sisters, Shirley Tarrant, Dot Leatherdale (Jim); brother, Morley (Grace); sister-in-law, Valerie Lewis (Charlie); brothers-in-law , Dennis Borden (Mabel), Fred Borden (Norma); seven grand-children and one great-grandchild and a large circle of other relatives and friends. Reverend Stephen Barbour conducted funeral services at the Trinity United Church, Botwood on Wed. November 9, 2011. Interment was at the United Church Cemetery, Botwood. Funeral arrange-ments were entrusted to Hoskins Funeral Home, Botwood. Pallbearers were Harry Barnes, Lewis Elliott, Mike Green, Donny Marche, Charlie Lewis and Ed Chipman.
