John Kyte
The funeral of the late John Kyte was held October 27, 2011. A celebration of Life Mass took place at St. Theresa Church, Sydney, with interment at Resurection Cemetary, Sydney Forks. We the family of the late John Kyte would like to take this opportunity to extend a sincere thank you to all of our family, friends, neighbours, those who brought food, sent Mass and sympathy cards, made charitable donations, travelled from out of town, sent on line condolences and to those who phoned our home with expressions of sympathy. Our gratitiude to Fr. James Oliver for his many visits to see Dad at home, to Fr. Everett McDow for the beautiful funeral Mass and to Fr. Michael Rankin, Macgillivary Guest Home for his many prayers and blessings. Thank you to grandson Shane Dixon for leading the procession and Andrew Kyte. A heartfelt thank you to honorary pallbearers, nephews Billy Kyte, George Kyte, Jimmie Kyte and niece Marilyn Maceachern. A very special thank you to the readers grandson Darrell Kyte, grandaughters Cherie Kyte and , Shelley Kyte and Susan Kyte for presenting the offertory. We will be forever grateful to the staff of Macgillivary Guest home, Reminisent Road for the loving care and compassion shown to Dad and his family. Thank you to Dr. Worth for his professionalism over the years, Dr.Archibald for his care over the last six months and Dr. AF D'intino, Pallitave care for her compassion care and understanding during such a difficult time. Thank you to the many horsesmen with whom dad was associated and who raced their horses at Tartan Downs. A special thank you to Pat Mcguire and family for their kindness over many years. An unending thank you to our spouses, Josie, Colleen, Adrian and Lynn for their constant support and encouragement during dads illness. Our thanks and appreciation to T.W Curry and staff for their professional and guidance. Those we love don't go away. They walk beside us everyday. William Harold Florence, Kevin and families.
