Peacefully, with her family by her side, at the Colville Manor, Souris, on Monday, November 7, 2011, of Bertha Mae Taylor (nee Acorn) of Upton, in her 100th year.
Wife of the late Truelove Taylor. Dear mother of Mona (Claude) Matheson, Forest Hill; Faye VanIderstine, Stratford; Wylie (Anne), Upton; Sue (Floyd) Hicken, Bridgetown; Blanche Webster, Cardigan; Bert (Marlene), Upton; and Dale Mossman (Marjorie), Bridgetown. Also survived by son-in-law, Joey Chaisson. Cherished grandmother of 27 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Predeceased by daughter, Abby Chaisson and grandsons Stephen Taylor and Parker Matheson, sons-in-law, Chester VanIderstine and Carl Webster.
Resting at Ferguson's Montague Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Dundas Community Cemetery. Visitation: Wednesday 7-9 p.m. only.
