March 19, 1951 – November 2, 2011



It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Vida ‘Violet’ Patricia Schneider. Violet always had a gentle loving smile and big embrace for everyone she seen and will be greatly missed by family and friends. Violet is survived by her children Quinn (Tracy), Sonja (Robert Lapka) and Walter (Motoka Miyahisa); grandchildren Stephanie, Brock, Brooke, Blake, Terence, Malcolm, Charla and Mika; and one Great Grandson Jackson. Violet is also survived by her special friend Gordon Saunders and spouse Ewald ‘Wally’ Schneider and her siblings Shirley Toman (Bob Baker), Bernice John (Louie), Edward Moody, Donna Moody (Phil) and Frank Moody (Barb).

A Prayer Service will be held on Tuesday November 8, 2011 at 7:30 PM and a Funeral Service on Wednesday November 9, 2011 at 10:00 AM both at St. Paul’s Indian Catholic Church, 424 West Esplanade Street, North Vancouver, BC.
