Passed peacefully away on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at St. Patrick’s Mercy Home, St. John’s, NL, Beatrice Meadus Antle, age 86 years. Predeceased by her parents: Martin and Clara Meadus; stepfather, Charlie Downer; brothers: Fred, Willis, Sylvester, Reginald and George; sister, Maude and daughter, Beverley. Left with fond and loving memories are her husband of 60 years, Owen; children: Jeannette (Roy), Judy (Mike), Lynn (Bill), Brad (Bruce); adored by her nine grandchildren: Jennifer, Joanne, Meagan, Valerie, Matthew, Andrew, Tom, Taylor and Lauren as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. Special thanks to the staff of the 4th floor of Tiffany Village and the staff of 3E, St. Patrick’s Mercy Home for their attentive and compassionate care. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road on Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral service to take place from Cochrane Street United Church on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
