May 23, 1964 - November 8, 2011. Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family, at the Palliative Care Unit of The Dr. Leonard Miller Centre, after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 age 47 years. Viola was a beautiful wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law and a great friend to many - our pillar of strength. Predeceased by her dad, Reginald Rose, grandparents Annie Lea and Fredrick Rose and Margaret and Ned Morgan. Leaving to mourn to celebrate her life and loving memories are her loving husband Paul Martin; beautiful children: Lacey, Jesse and Joshua and his dad Jeff Head. Also leaving to mourn her loving mother Shirley Rose; loving sister Carol (Dave); loving brother Walter (Jennifer); aunts and uncles: Fred Rose (Shirley), aunt Maude (George), aunt Blanche and aunt Sis. Also special nieces: Julia and Sarah, as well as many other nieces, nephews and a large extended family. Left with many fond and cherished memories are a special group of friends and families from Quartz Place, C.B.S. as well as her co-workers from Mun Chemistry Dept. Visitation in the James J. Hickey Memorial Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Wednesday, 7-9 pm, Thursday 10-12, 2-4 and 7-9 pm, Friday 10-12 noon. Funeral service in All Saint's Anglican Church, Foxtrap on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 2 pm. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Dunn's Hill Road, Foxtrap. Flowers gratefully accepted.
