Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Tuesday, November 8, 2011, Sadie M. Parsons of Carbonear, age 93 years. Predeceased by husband William, son Royden, brothers-in-law Wallace Rose and Leslie Peach. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Glenda (Douglas) Crews, Paradise and Mary (George) Power, Carbonear; one son: Berkliam, Richmond Hill, ON; daughter-in-law: Heather Parsons, Etobicoke, ON; ten grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Rev. William (Florence) Reynolds, Harbour Grace and Rev. Royden (Jeanette) Reynolds, Grand Falls-Windsor; four sisters: Janie Peach, Boston, Massachusetts, Goldie Reynolds, Carbonear, Lillian Rose, Salmon Cove and Mae (Edward) Burden, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service to take place on Friday, November 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the TCP Health Foundation or to Bethany United Church Sunday School.
