Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 10, 2011 of Ed Nelson of Cherry Valley, age 97 years.
Beloved husband of the late Marion Nelson (nee Sherren) and loving father of Judy Jay (Wilf - deceased), Fred Nelson (Sheila) and Dale Nelson (cherished friend - Bev). Ed is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-granddaughter. He was predeceased by his sister Evelyn Bishop and his brother Clayton Nelson.
Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford, for visitation on Saturday, November 12, 2011, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 13 at 2 p.m. at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Cherry Valley Memorial Cemetery.
