A year has passed since you went away,
You were called and we had to stay.
We face each day wishing you were here,
Remembering your love, we hold so dear.
Your laugh, your smile, your helping ways,
Help us cope throughout the days.
There’s never a moment you’re not in our minds
Someone like you is so hard to find.
So we thank you God, for being so blessed,
Knowing my dad, till he was called to rest.
