KING, GARY DONALD - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Gary Donald King which occurred on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born 1942 in Toronto, ON, he was the son of the late Alan and Viola (Wood) King. Gary was self-employed as a draftsman for 45 years. He enjoyed golfing, horse-racing, drawing and going south in the winter. He is survived by his sons Shawn King and Shane King both of Sussex Corner; daughter Charlene King of Sussex, NB; brothers Dennis (Lyn) of Barry, ON, Ronald (Janice) of Sussex, Barry (Beatrice) of Riverview and Lance (Lorraine) of Saint John; sister Tania MacNeil of Sussex; grandchildren Mark King, Michael Mason, Chelsea Mason and Jayden King and great-granddaughter Piper Hudson and his former wife Ellen King.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be held at Fundy Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 14, 2011 at 1 p.m. with Rev. Kevin Vincent. Gary’s remains will be interred with his parents in Fairhaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Moncton at a later date.
