It is with great sadness and broken hearts that we the family announce the passing of Jennie Hall, on Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011, at Harbourstone Enhanced Care Facility, Sydney, with her daughter, Donna by her side.
Born in Westmount, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm and Ann (White) MacDonald.
Jennie was a wonderful woman, who will be missed by all who knew her.
Jennie is survived by her loving husband, Jack Hall; children, Donna Hall (Michael Kuch), Brantford, Ont., John (Sheila) Hall, Sydney, Diane Mugridge, Sydney, Paul (June) Johnston, North Carolina, Peter (Linda) Johnston, Calgary; her five grandchildren, Tyler Hall–Kuch, Kaitlyn Hall-Kuch, Geoff Hall, Dale Mugridge and Donnette Bren; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Ernie MacDonald, Ontario.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Pauline Forrest, brothers, John and Bill.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday Nov. 13, 2011 at the S.W. Chant & Son Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Sheldon Chant officiating. Private burial to take place in Hardwood Hill Cemetery at a later date.
