It is with great sadness that the family of Harold George Trumper, age 94, announce his sudden passing on October 24, 2011, at the Cypress Regional Hospital. Harold was born on November 6, 1916, at Climax, SK, to Ada May and Thomas Leslie Trumper. He married Olga Elena Christianson on June 18, 1943, in Shaunavon, SK. They were married for 65 years until Olga’s passing on July 19, 2008. They lived in several places: Climax SK, Simmie SK, Brantford ON, Medicine Hat AB, Maple Creek SK and Shaunavon SK. Then in November 2000, they resided at the Prairie Pioneer Independent Housing in Swift Current, SK, were he lived until his passing. Over the years, Harold’s various jobs included: working for the City of Medicine Hat, farming, bus mechanic and finally as a bus driver for the Shaunavon School Unit. Harold’s greatest joy was sharing what he learned from the Bible with others. He enjoyed talking about old, old times and had a special interest in antique tractors. He will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his many nieces, nephews, their extended families and friends. The Memorial Service was held on November 7, 2011, at 1:30 pm, from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Swift Current, SK, with Stephen Park officiating. The Interment Service will take place at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Swift Current, SK. Funeral arrangements were in care of Swift Current Funeral Home, Swift Current, SK.
