Bradley Slauenwhite
SLAUENWHITE, BRADLEY JAMES - It is with deep sadness that the family announces the death of Bradley James Slauenwhite, loving husband of Ruth (Charman) Slauenwhite, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on November 10th, 2011. Born in Middleton, NS on March 5th, 1938 and raised in Lawrencetown, Annapolis Valley the son of late Gerald Slauenwhite and surviving mother Ruby Slauenwhite. Brad was a founder and long time Executive Director of Jobs Unlimited, an employment agency for mentally challenged adults, a vocation to which he was passionately dedicated. In addition, for thirty years Brad and Ruth created colourful fanciful toys which they sold at home and abroad under the banner of Performing Toys. Brad was a voracious reader, creative spirit, charismatic speaker, devoted family man, and irrepressible dreamer with boundless curiosity. Brad is survived by his devoted wife Ruth, children, Stephanie (David Boles), Wesley (Sharon Nunn) and Jennifer (Gordon Price) his grandsons Jackson and Willem Slauenwhite, mother Ruby, brother Darrel (Elaine) and sisters: Yvonne Mulligan (Dave), Jeanette Kenny, Lynn Corrigan, Idella (Phil Sinardi) and Susan Loverock (Peter) and his many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his uncle Guy Eisnor. Brad will be remembered for his commitment to equality for all, celebration of family and desire to express his creative soul.
The family will receive visitors at McAdams Funeral Home, Fredericton, NB on Sunday, November 13th from 1 to 5 PM. Funeral, Monday, November 14th, 11am at the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel with Rev.
