SMITH, AGNES - Agnes L. Smith, 92, of Hillsborough, passed away peacefully at the Moncton City Hospital on November 11, 2011, with her family by her side. Born in Gagetown, NB, she was a daughter of the late Donald and Lena (nee Beckett) Adamson. Agnes is survived by her loving husband, Edwin Smith; her daughters: Wendy Ogilvie (Gordon), and Darlene Graham; son, Donald Graham; brother, Malcolm Adamson; and also several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Agnes was predeceased by her sisters: Grace Adamson and Elva Graham; and by her brother, Robert Adamson.
The family will be receiving visitors on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 from 1 to 2 pm; the funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Dr. Richard Jackson and Rev. Dr. John Bartol presiding, all in Armstrong's Funeral Home, 33 Russell Street, Petitcodiac. A reception will be held after the service. The interment will be in the New Elgin Cemetery.
