Passed peacefully away at St. Clare’s Mercy Hospital on Saturday, October 31, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. Josephine Mary Burke (nee Walsh), age 73 years. Predeceased by her parents, John and Susannah Walsh, brothers Herb and Ray Walsh, sister Marie Temple and son-in-law Frank Ryan. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 51 years, Cecil; seven children: Cathy, Trudy Ryan, Susan (Donnie) Donovan, Cecil (Peggy), Sean (Sherry), Stephen (Sandra) and Jodie (Special friend Arthur); 10 grandchildren: Frankie Ryan, Shane, Sarah and Evan Donovan, Aaron and Colin Burke, Daniel and Patrick Burke, Adam Burke and Blair Burke; also leaving to mourn sister Anne Day (Jim), brother John Walsh (Carmelita), brothers-in-law Gerald Burke (Ann), Bob Burke (Pat), Mike Burke (Joyce), sister-in-law Ann Walsh and special friends Walter and Marina Critchley. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews and friends. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation Monday and Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, November 4th, at 10 a.m. from St. Paul’s Catholic Church. Cremation to follow. Inurnment at a later date.
