KELLY, DULCIE A. - It is with sadness we announce the passing of Dulcie Alexandra Kelly of Saint John, loving wife of the late Dunstan Kelly which occurred on Friday, November 11, 2011 at the Loch Lomond Villa. She was born to Walter and Grace (Duran) Davis in Burma on September 5, 1927 and later emigrated to England, then Canada. She worked as a secretary for Burma Castrol in the UK and was a homemaker and volunteer in nursing homes during her years in Canada. She attended church regularly her whole life, most recently at Forest Hills Baptist Church. Dulcie is survived by one son, Colville Rainey; sisters Eleanor and Iona and brother Robin, all of UK. She was predeceased by a sister Hope, brothers Bunny, Alexander and Colville. Also surviving are in-laws David and Maureen Downard of Brisbane, Australia and special friends Helen Currie, Delbert and Anne Mason and Gerry Maher, all of Saint John.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). Following cremation, a graveside service will be at the columbarium of St. Joseph’s Cemetery on Tuesday November 15, 2011 at 2 p.m. Donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. www.fundyfuneralhome.com Many thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of Ash Lane, Loch Lomond Villa for their loving care of Dulcie these past few years.
