Passed peacefully away on the 7th day of November, 2011, at the Golden Heights Manor, Bonavista, Elkanah (Cainie) Clarke, age 87, from New Bonaventure. Predeceased by his parents, Annie and Stephen Janes; sister, Lillian Lander; brothers, Jacob, Garfield and Norman Janes. Leaving to mourn a large number of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends. Rested at the St. John Anglican Church, New Bonaventure from where the funeral service, officiated by Rev. Chuck Lockhart, took place on the 10th day of November with interment following. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Vardy`s Funeral Home, Random Island.
