Peacefully, surrounded by family on Saturday, November 12, 2011, at Beach Grove Home of Mr. Alvin W. MacDonald, formerly of Covehead, age 85 years.
Dear father of Danny (Lisa) MacDonald, Jeanette (Kent) Wakelin and Michelle (Colin) McAulay. He is also survived by three loving grandchildren: Craig (Emily) MacDonald, Krista (Justin MacLean) MacDonald and Katy McAulay; one great-grandson, Aiden MacDonald; sisters, Kay Veroni and Marie (George) Brookins and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his parents Wilfred and Helen (nee Auld) MacDonald; infant sister, Lorene MacDonald and brother-in-law Dr. Tom Veroni.
Resting at the Cutcliffe Funeral Home where the funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at 10 a.m. Interment to follow in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
If so desired, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Society or the P.E.I. Cancer Treatment Centre.
