Passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2009, Edith M. Rowe aged 90 years. Predeceased by her husband Magistrate F. Maxwell Rowe, her parents Donald and Hilda Burridge and brothers Rex, Weston, Cecil, Harry and Roy. She leaves to mourn her five children Maxine Brown (Len of Stellarton, NS; Cheryl Hardy (Oscar) of Wabush, Donald (Marie) of St. John’s, Geoffrey (Belle) of Brampton, Ont., and Michelle Warner (David) of Yarmouth, N.S.; her 14 grandchildren Douglas Brown (Rhonda), Christopher Brown (Jean), Stephen Brown (Kim), Geoffrey Hardy (Barbara McLean), Angela Hardy (Grant Hillier), Fr. Jonathan Rowe (Emily), David Rowe (Stephanie), Matthew Schildheuer-Rowe (Katharina), Nicole Lake (John), Stephanie Rowe, Cheryl Rowe, Gillian Warner, Paul Warner (Jessica) and Kenneth Warner; nine great-grandchildren Mary-Beth Brown, Cameron Brown, Kayla Dixon, Abigail Rowe, Benjamin Rowe, Francis Rowe, and Elija Schildheuer-Rowe, Landon Warner and Walton Warner; sisters-in-law Beatrice King and Audrey King and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Resting at Carnell’s Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Road from 2 to 4 p.m.and 7 to 9 p.m. on Monday and Tuesday, November 2 and 3. Funeral service from the Church of St. Mary the Virgin, Craigmillar Ave. at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 4. Burial at the Anglican Cemetery, Kenmount Road.
