Passed peacefully away after a lengthy illness at Glenbrook Lodge on October 30, 2009, Obadiah Tucker, age 73 years. Predeceased by his father Nathaniel Tucker and baby brother Bobby. Leaving to mourn is his loving and devoted wife of 54 years, Lillian (nee Hart) and six children: Obie (Paulette), Gordon (Genevieve), Barbara Pender (Jim), Ed (Rachel), Brenda Johnson (Gerry), Angela (Aubrey Lynch); twelve grandchildren: Keith, Christopher, Nicholas, Michael, Sarah, Joshua, Ryan, Justin, Jessica, Bryan, Jeremy, and Cheryl. Also leaving to mourn is his mother Hettie; his two brothers: Victor (Joan), Gordon (Margaret); two sisters: Helen Squires, Grace (Declan) McCann, and a large circle of relatives and friends, including special friend Carl Way. Funeral service to take place from St. Philip’s Anglican Church on Tuesday November 3, 2009 at 2 p.m. followed by interment at St. Philip’s Anglican Cemetery.
